Fly High Farm Ribbon Cutting

Join the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate new Chamber member Fly High Farm with a ribbon cutting!

Established in 2021 and owned by Amber Whitlock, Fly High Farm offers a unique, hands-on farm experience right here in LaRue County. Visitors can meet and interact with their Highland cattle and Valais Blacknose sheep through guided farm tours, along with special seasonal events and activities throughout the year.

From feeding treats and brushing the animals to photo opportunities, painting events, cookie decorating and more, Fly High Farm is creating a fun way for families and visitors to experience life on the farm.

Come help us welcome Fly High Farm to the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce and celebrate this growing local business!

A New Pet Store is Coming to Hodgenville: Meet The Pet Nook LLC

There’s something new coming to Hodgenville—and local pet owners are going to want to check it out! 🐾

The Pet Nook LLC is preparing to open at 625 Tanner Road in Hodgenville, bringing our community a new local option for pet food, supplies, accessories, and more.

The Pet Nook plans to carry premium dog and cat food, including frozen options, along with treats, toys, collars, leashes, pet apparel, and a variety of pet health products. Shoppers will also find some unique offerings, including pet-safe plants, aquarium plants and small fish for community-friendly aquariums, with additional small animals planned for the future.

The store will also offer a personalized touch with laser-engraved pet tags and custom tumblers featuring your pet’s photo.

For added convenience, customers will be able to order online and pick up their purchases in store, and a pet food loyalty program is planned for regular customers.

Current planned business hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with hours subject to adjustment based on the needs of customers.

Our September concert is getting a new band and a new location! Perfect Fit will take the stage for our end-of-summer concert, and we’re moving the fun to Creekfront in Hodgenville.
