Light Up Hodgenville will take place on Friday, November 17 beginning with the Christmas parade at 6 pm. Santa Claus will be here along with The Grinch, Cindy Lou, Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Cinderella & her Prince for photo ops, free face painting, horse and wagon rides, live nativity, children’s chorus and brass ensemble hosted by City of Hodgenville & LaRue County Chamber of Commerce. The Square will shut down at 4 pm, registration for the costume contest will take place at 5 pm, costume contest will begin at 5:30 pm, candy stops will take place from 6-8 pm or whenever the candy runs out. Costume contest categories: Cutest, Funniest, Most Original & Scariest. Age groups are Under 1, 1-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-12 years and family/group.
