MEASURE THE CANDIDATES
LaRue County Farm Bureau and the Chamber are once again working together to sponsor a “Measure the Candidate” forum for the 2014 Primary election cycle.  This moderated forum follows a model used across the state to allow candidates for office to convey their platform to voters.  This is not a political debate, but a chance for candidates to provide answers to questions submitted by the audience. Due to the large number of offices contested this year, forums will be held on two different evenings in March.  The schedule for each night is as follows:

Tuesday, March 18:          Thursday, March 20:

County Attorney                State Representative

Sheriff                                  PVA

                                              County Judge/Executive

The forum will be held in the Upstairs Courtroom at the LaRue County Courthouse located at 209 West High Street, Hodgenville beginning at 7:00 p.m. each night.  Members of the audience will have an opportunity to submit questions in writing beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Questions will be screened by sponsor representatives and presented to candidates by the moderator.
