Building Leaders ….become involved with Leadership LaRue County!

Leadership LaRue County Class of 2013-2014

 

Established in 2005, Leadership LaRue County provides educational experiences for present and future leaders to develop knowledge and foster appreciation of our community and to encourage civic involvement.  

 

The program begins in September and is followed by monthly day sessions through April.  Topics include: local history, tourism, education, economic development, health and human services, state and local government, agriculture, entrepreneurship and so much more!

Volunteer at the STATE FAIR

I can almost taste the funnel cakes, hear the music and smell the livestock!
We are recruiting volunteers who will represent and promote Hodgenville/ LaRue County at our booth during the Pride of the Counties during
the State Fair!

All volunteers will have
free admission
to the fair and
free parking!
This year our volunteers will also be give t-shirts to wear while working at the fair.

It’s a great time to promote LaRue County!

Kids College at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville University will be hosting Kids College once again this year. Grades 3rd thru 8th

Session will start June 3-6,2013 1p.m.-3:45 p.m.

Another session will start July 15-18, 2013 9a.m.-11:45a.m.

Please see the attached flyer should you be interested for your child to attend.

Campbellsville University is looking for teachers to help teach the classes. If interested please call the number on the attached flyer.

Summer Season Celebration at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace

Join Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park as the park celebrates the beginning of the summer season!

Concert from 7:00pm to 8:00pm EDT with President Lincoln’s Own Band as featured

in the movie Lincoln.

Luminary Event from 8:00pm to 9:00pm EDT throughout park grounds including the

Sinking Spring and steps leading up the First Lincoln Memorial.
