Light Up Hodgenville was a huge success!

Several hundred folks enjoyed an evening in downtown Hodgenville welcoming the Christmas season.  The 2nd Annual Christmas parade started the festivities bringing many floats and other vehicles all decorated for Christmas down Main Street with generous participants throwing out goodies for the onlookers.  Once on Lincoln Square folks could participate in free face painting, free horse and wagon rides, photo ops with The Grinch & Cindy Lou, Elsa, Anna & Olaf and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus rode in on the fire truck.  All of this was made possible by the generosity of our sponsor Lewis Auction Company, The Branded Babes, West Point Bank, David C. Perkins candidate for District Judge of LaRue County, Bank of Buffalo & The Mud Honey’s.   Thanks to the City Councilman Larry Davis who put together the music portion of this event and to Mayor Phelps, City Supervisor Ed Lane, the City of Hodgenville employees for all their hard work.  A big thank you goes to Roxann King for the beautiful downtown decorations.  Merry Christmas from the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce.
